Smoothies or whole fruit drinks are made from whole fruits including the fruit pulp. 100% of the fruit is used with the exception of peel and seeds. Fruits, fruit and vegetables pureed with a mixer or Smoothie Maker - this produces a juice, quickly prepared drink, for young and old with a very high vegetable and fruit content and a very creamy consistency.

Advantages of smoothies and homemade juice
Compared to most juices from the Tetra-Pak, smoothies are, in my opinion, the healthier and more nutritious alternative, as they do not contain any additional sugars, flavour enhancers or conservatives.
Another big advantage is that you can quickly prepare smoothies yourself and adapt them to your taste. A hit on children's birthday parties (besides muffins and other delicacies), where you can dilute the corresponding fruit smoothies with up to 60% water. So they are still tasty and refreshing and the fructose level does not shoot through the blanket. 😉
Smoothies are available in all possible variations, flavours and colours. In principle you can simply puree and taste fruits, leafy vegetables, garden herbs, tea, yoghurt, milk (also coconut milk) according to your taste. Simply delicious!

Smoothie - Kiwi, Orange, Banana
I personally added a peeled finger-width slice of a ginger tuber. Fresh ginger promotes blood circulation and lactate breakdown in muscle tissue, so goodbye sore muscles with this delicious after-workout smoothie. 😉
Take 4 kiwis, 3 oranges, 1 banana and some ginger and peel and puree the ingredients. Then you pour the delicious creamy drink into a glass and enjoy it.
Smoothie - strawberry, banana, coconut milk
For this, strawberries are best taken from the freezer. Gladly still frozen with the other ingredients puree.
This creates a kind of fruity good milkshake. Very tasty!
Smoothie - Orange , Apple
Press the oranges (juice oranges). Puree the apples and ginger and mix with the orange juice.
Finally, fill a third of the glass with crushed ice and fill the glass with juice. Stir briefly, done!

Here and now the continuation from the first part, about sense and nonsense from the 3D printer. You can argue about the usefulness and usability, but for example you can't discuss away some practical kitchen helpers. What can you do if you want to prepare Wiener Schnitzel, for example, but the wooden meat tenderizer has … Continue reading "Even more useful things from the 3D printer"
Kids: Developing the joy of reading
"I'm bored!" mumbles the child, lying with his head on the shoulder of the parent. After enumerating a number of play options, it occurs to you that you have read a lot yourself as a child and suggests: "Why don't you read a book? "Your aunt gave you such a nice book." "I don't feel … Continue reading "Kids: Developing the joy of reading"
Ikea Upcycling idea: LED lamp with WiFi remote control
Inspired by some of my last lighting projects for bedrooms and children's rooms, I had some motivation and above all time to tinker on the weekend. As with the Ikea Upcycling lamp for the children's room from the 3D printer, I wanted to turn something old into something new. This time, however, the lamp was … Continue reading "Ikea Upcycling idea: LED lamp with WiFi remote control"

Children, cold weather and lots of fun
Several doctors recommend that children spend at least half an hour a day in the fresh air, which I personally find quite conclusive. In some weather conditions, however, you may wonder whether it is good for the child's health. Often you have no idea about activities in cold weather, which would be fun for you … Continue reading "Children, cold weather and lots of fun"
